hmm by the way everyone was putting it I thought I needed to tap into the top line which I have already done. That sucks I may just leave it like that.

Thanks BigTex. I'm going to install it tonight and hopefully the electric fans, if time permitting. I was thinking that maybe the temp would be raised back up if the cooler was first, then through the radiator, but I just wanted to be absolutely sure.

The top isn't the return? Oops...wait, are you sure about that...cause I'm gonna redo mine if it's wrong...but I asked that question in a bunch of different places and performed a bunch of searches and came up with the top as the return. I'm positive that the top on the trans is the return, and I thought that I visually followed the top line from the rad straight to it, just to confirm my search results...but now I'm doubting myself.

Just double checked my 99 Service Manual (If anyone wants to referece it, it's Volume 3, page 7-77), and the schematic shows the upper line as the return...guess I won't be swapping my cooler lines this weekend...whew.

So, is everybody sure the top is the return line?!?!?! I was just about to leave when I decided to check this post and now I see everything has changed again. So, now I tap into the top line right? You guys are killing me!

easy test, pull the top line off, install the short fitting install two hoses, run them into a bucket and have someone start the motor for 3 seconds, fluid will gush out of the top, you'l see.fluid will blow out at 70PSI,only takes a second to avoid a mess and test.
