Unhappy Installing Headers on a vortec 350

I recently bought hooker headers(part#2462HKR) for my truck. It is a 98 chevy silverado ck1500 with a 5.7l(350) vortec engine. I was wondering if anyone had any experience installing headers for this truck. Also what tips would anyone recommend in the installation.

I have never installed headers on a newer vortec350 (not LSx) but more than my fair share on old 350 mainly carburated vehicles (not much differenc in the two). The help I can give you is, get a set of high quality header gasket. For installation install the front and rear bolt and slide the gasket in between the header and heads, most gasket are notched for this type of installation, and finish it up with the middle two bolts. The last thing would be torque the bolts often during the first week of use to seat the gasket in.
