Default Installing headers?

How long you think it would take to install the AS&M headers on a 4.8. Trying to figure out what it's going to cost me for installation

4 hours max with the proper tools. The cut can be made 1/4" infront of the cats and the reast of the pipe and stock manifold can come out together. That's what I did. It took me about 6 hours and I had to use a manual tailpipe cutter!

yep, headers are a really easy install

should take anywhere from 3-8 hours depending on tools, knowledge, and the ammount of involved.

I had a sawzall and it still took me 7 hours! I used hand tools for everything else. Air tools would help a lot! Install is straightforward. Everything fits well. Just gotta weld the flanges on to the cats. Use the stock gaskets, they work fine. However, ASM do give you OEM gaskets so you can't go wrong there. The best is when you fire up that engine with the headers uncapped . One last thing...try not to take too many breaks. Maybe that's why it took me 7 hours .

He meant that it sounds like you have a cut out right behind the headers.
