Default Installed Transgo and servo have Questions??

I finally installed the transgo and corvette servo. I noticed that when i reprogramed the hypertech to say YES if an aftermarket shift kit is installed. The truck does not shift that hard. Does that setting on the hpp3 matter or not? The other thing i am wondering is are the shift points still into effect or did those get cancelled out? As far as the Trans go and Servo It is a bitch to install that kit, the instructions are not that user friendly but I called Transgo and got everything squared away. So far i like it, it hits 1-2 very hard 2-3 very strong and what i liked best is now i have control of my shifter i can hold my shifts to whatever rpm i like. One bad thing is the Torque management is very very Noticeable, (falling in your face) if you had a beer while driving and the truck shifts you may spill your beer on the steering wheel. I heard Hitmanx was going to take away the tq management hopefully we can get some data from there.!!

well i did and blew it up twice. if you dont have performance parts in i would suggest leavin the torque management alone, just my .02.
but i did like it after i took the torque management out. which kit did you get. the shift kit. or the reprogrammable shift kit?
i have the reprogrammable one.
just be carefull on how hard it shifts the sun gear will not last long. and the out put shaft will go too.
when and if it does have it all replaced with up graded parts. good luck

As soon as I can get my *** to San Antonio I am going to get it totally removed along with a wideband tune. I am pretty confident how my TransGo is setup (no washers), the billet servos, 4x4 pan, and I am going to stick in a larger cooler I shall be fine with it totally gone.

I don't neutral slam it, no power braking/brake torquing, and hardly any WOT 2-3 shifts so I think I am in the clear. Besides that, I am beginning to think that the 3-4 pack burns up from insufficient fluid flow, not from the bolt on powered trucks...the TransGo addresses that.

The excessivly (sp?) hard shifts are what seems to put an end to these trannies and high line pressure. My line pressure isn't getting raised any more than the .500" boost valve raises it to.
