battery is disconnected. should i change out my old plugs?... ugh thgis sucks... at least i'll still be able to get to work... i dont live to far.

the ground part of the plug, if you give them much of a bump you can close the gap and they wont fire.

isn't it like a 20 minute deal to pull the plugs? even with the turbo in the way it only take me 1/2 max to change my plugs? maybe your headers make it dificult.

I'd pull all of the plugs and check for a cracked insulator (porcelain) or a gap slammed shut. Wierd how you say it only happens in reverse...I've seen that happen with a loose or broken intake tube. When the vehicle is in drive it idles fine because the intake tube is sealed, but when it's in reverse the engine torques and the tube opens up letting in unmetered air...just a thought.

well.. i found a cracked insulator.. hopefully its only one.. i'll put one of my old 55's back in and see if that does it.. if it does then im going to have to buy another 6

if i were to torque to far... would that cause an insulator to crack?

welp.. its fixed now.... i had a couple cracked insulators.... 5 actually..... heh.. um.. so i learned a life lesson today. dont overtorque your spark plugs.
