you guys are ridiculous, poking fun at someone for posting that they felt a seat of the pants gain, when they were told they weren't supposed to. Some people don't feel things, others do, it's called feel. That's why some people can drive, and some people can't. I"m the type of person who can feel everything in the truck, and know when the silghtest thing is wrong, where as other people couldn't feel a transmission slip. the quote "another post by a newbie" is ridiculous, because the amount of posts i have, has nothing to do with the knowledge or experiance i have. I was just relaying my experiances, so others could see that it may be a worthwhile mod. I wasn't saying i all of the sudden was the fastest thing around. I also noticed a gain from my vara ram velocity stack, another thing people tell me i'm not supposed to feel. Argueing me is fine, everyone has an opinion but being sarcastic and calling me a "newbie" is just plain childish. I had been bragging about this site to friends, saying they dont' make fun of people, for making statements that aren't exactly the common opinion, guess i was wrong.......

I'm not poking fun at anybody. I'm just stating what I believe as you stated what you believe. I'm not gonna bullshit ya, I've swapped intake and carb. set-up's on my car before and couldn't "feel" anything, when actually the car went 3 tenths quicker in the quarter! I guess the "seat of my pants" isn't as sensitive as other peoples'. Sorry if it sounded like a bashing, I didn't mean any harm.

hyper, should be ashamed for making rediculous remarks every time he posts.
Dont let ignorant remarks like that turn you away from a good site.

Back on the topic, I can believe you possibly feeling a difference in part throttle response and "pep". Like Flyer said, just measure the resistance between the 2.

I dont think any mods work for these trucks, just send all your money to me and save your time. By the way seat of the pants is a lot different when you oil up your leather seats real good.
