The more resistance there is in a wire the more voltage is needed to overcome that resistance up to a certain point(stock wires) so if you lower the resistance of the path for the spark to travel the less voltage and a less poweful spark will occur. But the spark will be a little less powerful but it will last a little bit longer therefore longer spark duration equals more power ( up to a certain point)

it was a recommended modification over at silveradoss.com, it was cheap, took 15 minutes to install, most likely will help more as you continue to mod and perhaps with FI. just because you cant feel something doesnt mean it doesnt help. for the price i bought mine at ($60 some dollars), i thought it was a worthy mod.

i didnt notice one bit of a difference though, and i didnt expect to either. iam still very happy with doing it though.

i know if you have some miles on your truck, then its a good idea to replace them anyway.. everyone just shouldnt expect them to feel like you are spraying a 75shot HEHEHHEE

most of the time you can look aorund and find used plug wires cheap.. i got my magnacores for 20bucks used.. new they are 75

I replaced mine after burning up a set of wires and plugs. This was after I had the blower on and the plugs were replaced at the same time. There was a difference.
