Default Install labor for stall converter

First shop I called quoted me $413 - and at that point, I knew I was going to be under my truck in my garage trying to install it myself. But to my relief I called a few other places that told me $250 - so, is that a decent price to get this Yank put in or are theyre any better shops/prices around the houston area?
