Default Inline Fuel pump for Radix? Is it the magnavolt?

Just had a question for all you Magnacharger guru's. Is the inline fuel pump that comes with the charger the Magnavolt? If not, what is it?

I already bought a intank GSS340 but not quite sure if I want to mess with all that (and possibly modding it,) or even need it. Some people have said that the inline (such as the one used on the radix) will work just fine too. In fact, I remember Zippy saying that it will feed fuel just fine up to 600 hp.

P.S. I have new PCM tune, zippy shift kit, TB torque converter and new 43# injectors waiting to be installed. I already have a whipple, magnaflow catback and Volant CAI. Thanks!

The Magnavolt is a voltage booster that feeds your fuel pump extra power when under a certain boost level. The in line fuel pump that the radix system uses is a Walbro 225lph pump. I have that pump with the Magnavolt hooked to it. At 3psi it kicks up the voltage and you can hear it whining under the truck. Depending on your hp goal, injector size, rpm limits etc will determine if you need an in line a Magnavolt or both.

How much PSI are you running? I'm at 6 I believe. With that much psi and those mods, would you think the radix pump would be enough?

There is no 100% sure way to tell you if you would need them except to log with tuning software and a wideband and see what your Air Fuel Ratio is as well as you injector duty cyle.
With 43# injectors and 6psi I think you would be pretty safe with just the inline pump. Assuming you stay at the stock shift point. You start spinning the engine to 6500rpm and trouble is soon to arrive. However, the added protection of a magnavolt costs WAY less than an engine rebuild.
