Default INJECTOR's for alternate FUEL and RADIX???

I have an 02' 5.3 Yukon. I just ordered a RADIX yesterday. After I ordered it I called Wester's and told him to update my tune and send it out. When he looked up my account and VIN, he said since I have the "alternate fuel" the 42lb injectors that come with the radix will not fit. He says I will have to use my stock 38lb injectors that come on my truck (not sure what stock "non-alternate fuel" injector sizes are). Wester said the plugs are diiferent for the alternate fuel trucks, the fittings are smaller, says they are like car injectors plug in's rather than truck plugs. He says my stock injectors are large enough to use.

When I spoke to my installer, he says the stock 38lb injectors will run too lean. He says I need to find another solution.

Anyone have any expierence with alternate fuel and a radix? Any solutions?

A) Are there any after market injectors I could use?
B) Cut the pig tails on the stock injectors, retrofit?
C) ....

Had an install of these on two guys garage about 2 weeks ago. These said because the Tahoe was flex-fuel the install was easier because you could reuse the stock injectors.

You will reuse the stock injectors.

Is he saying the injectors will not attach to the fuiel rail or the plugs are wrong?

Edit: just talked to Lyndon. He said the plugs are the only sticking point. If you change the plugs you will be fine. However those are the same plugs that come on a 2003 6.0L truck and probably pretty spendy.

Yes, we can provide them in parts or assembled with leads.
$5.00 each as parts (terminals, connector, locks (2), seals) or $7.50
assembled.

My 5.3 came with the "z" flex fuel motor. I just changed the connectors over to use
the bigger injectors. I would stay w/ the bigger injectors and get those connectors.
they are way cheaper than gm. Luckily I had eight in my box already from old fuel rails.
