my friend has a 96 Silverado, built tranny, and a new built motor w/ a cam ready to put in the truck. He wants new injectors, what does he need and where can we get them?

 

you can update them through GM. you can buy a new spider assembly that changes it from a popet valve style to a multitec. its a better injector. as for an aftermarket injector im not sure. maybe someone else will chim in.

 

There are no aftermarket injectors I know of or the vortec 350's. The stock upgrade is a better design IMO but still flow the same as the one it replaces. And it's not to expensive. http://www.pacific-audio.com/perform...es/231640.html

Yes, there is the stock upgrade. However like inmywhitez posted, the only upgradable ones take a more work. You would have to get an aftermarket intake with mpfi. The most popular one is the marine intake. it looks almost to the stock intake.
