Default Which Injectors?

I'm trying to find the right injectors for the 6.0 that I'm building. I've been looking unsuccessfully for 8.1 marine injectors. Do you think I'll need them, or would the regular 8.1 injuectors be sufficient? BTW, I will be shifting at 6K RPMs, and have no plans to go bigger in the future.

The stock injectors can only support around 330 rwhp or so. I was maxing mine out with a stock cammed 6.0. You might be able to get by with the regular 8.1s, but I would go with the Marines (42).

Also, if you plan on shifting at 6k rpm, why did you get a 220/224 cam? That will peak around 6200 rpms and you'd want to shift around 6400ish.

Ah, excuse me, I screwed up there. I meant to say I maxed out the stock injectors on a bolt-on 6.0, stock cam. When I say stock injectors I meant the 24lb 4.8, 5.3 injectors. Mine were off my 4.8.

4.8, 5.3, and 6.0 injectors are all the same, 24.7#

Keep shopping for the 8.1 marines if you want a direct swap injector with no modifications to the rail or electrical connectors...

Finding the marine injectors for $400 is no problem. They often sell used for about $250. I just haven't found a set yet. But I really don't have any solid evidence of what I need. If I don't need the marine injectors, I can get new take off auto 8.1 injectors for about $150.
