Injectors ?

I have a question about feul injectors.
A 99' chevy has 20lb injectors. A 2000 and up has 24lb. Is this true?

That's correct, but to be exact it's 21.92 and 25.44 respectively.

My truck has custom tuning, would it accept the 25lb injectors or would it have to be reprogrammed?
And, if it accepts them would they make a difference?

Didn't the 99 6.0L have the larger injectors as well?
