Comp 212/212 .522/.522 112lsa XE lobes.

Can anyone give me some info? Like how is its driveability? Can I use it without Edit and have no problems? How much HP/TOrque am I looking at? My motor is a 4.8 and basic boltons. Will be that way for awhile. Maybe some heads and headers and 3000 Yank in the future, but not now. I wanna take Greg up on his offer but all the info I know about cam selection is from you guys, so I'm still learning... Any help is appreciated!

 

your truck looks just like mine except mine is white and i dont have the chrome mine is the tahoe front end with the eastcoastcustoms lower
nice ride.

 

I think you would have better results with that cam than Scream did with the 212/218. The reduced exhaust duration will give a little more torque and the smaller lsa will keep the power band down a little more.

my hood is a keystone goodhood and has the ram air set up works great with the k&n fipk. seals nicely
paid 600 before taxes.

z28, that hood came from www.eastcoastcustoms.com. Its not Totally funtional, like it doesnt push the air into the airbox, but it does move the air over the top of the engine and intake. If you want more pics or info then PM me.

my hood looks just like the one above except for being white
i purchased at summit. its a keystone good hood. my bad for mislabeling it. part no. GHG103 sells for 595.95 this hood is functional. if you buy the kit. i had the k&n fipk and works jsut as well. it seals tightly to it. i seen a difference with it. the ram air kit for is around 100.00 or so. cheaper than fipk but its just a box.

same price. i dont know how much for shipping either places
since i drove to summit and picked mine up.
