Cool Info and a question

while awaiting new truck i have started taking off stuff to re-install
first thing is rear hotchkis bar- dramatic different in feel of the truck without the rear bar- bottom line - rear bar worth the $. haven't taken front bar off yet but don't think it will make a big difference.

question, the big thing i don't like about my y2k is they way the computer/tranny responds to throttle input, doesn't kickdown gears they way i would like, the 97 2wd xcab i had before would kill this thing on the hwy when you want to pass something. will a pcm tune remedy that in the new truck or is that something i will have ask specificly for when ordering.
i have hppt on the current truck but haven't fooled around with shift points.
what i'm wondering is will a tune change % of throttle change required for tranny to respond. i won't be getting another hppt, mail order pcm instead,
nelson or westers

also, i've decided to go with mcgaughys 2" spindle and rear shackle rather than
springs and shackle, any opinions on their product

2004 born date - april 6-04 delivery may 15---- hopefully

HPP3 is junk compared to a real tune. You'd be surpised how much better it'd run with a custom setup PCM.
