Default Info on cam for a 5.3L

I got a lightly modded 5.3 in a 2000 Silverado Z71 and i am looking at doing a cam swap. I was looking a the Grandpa cam(or Old man can't remember) off the sticky and thought it looked good for my purpose. My question is how much will my mpg suffer and how much should i expect in hp and tq from it. I probably would upgrade to roller lifters with a higher ratio also. Any info would help

Thunder Racings "Old Man" Cam....it's a pretty good DD cam. That and a set of 1.8 rockers will up the ante by ~30hp with no other changes. gas mileage will drop slightly but if you're swappin' cams gas mileage should be low on your priority list already....

i like the 206/212 or the 210/218 also on 114lsa for a DD that wants about 20-30 more hp

when you start getting above 210/218 in cam size then a 2400-2600 stall comes into play to help make up for low end loss
