Hello gmc truck world, I'm 28 and I just purchased my first truck. I bought a 2008 gmc Sierra crew sle2 w the 5.3. I have a friend that has the exact same truck and I'm living truck knowlege through him. He's convinced me into the exaust, magnaflow, but I'm juggling the air intake system. Debating between the vararam tri-flow, k&n 63, or an AEM cold air intake. I could really use some thoughts and comments of ease of install, and cleaning/maintainance. Are all of there oil filter systems?

Cut a hole on the back side of the air box for more flow a drop in a k@n filter. I have never seen a stock or mildly moded truck ever gain a thing over this. save the pennys and buy a mail order tune, it will do 4 times as much.
