Alright well i'd like to do headers highflow cats so itll be true dual with the stock denali tips out the sides or have them turn down and dumped...my old 5.3 had the duals out the back and i towed a friends trailer for about 75 miles and i got the front all black and my exhaust on my old 5.3 had no manuf. logos so i had no clue what it was it sounded great at WOT but up hills at a consistent rpm it droned everything out and my intake alone already does that on my 6.0L......umm i don't know how hard headers are to change but i more than less need parts that fit as are i dont have available equipment to customize pipes or anything so some guidance on that would be great and....as far as custome tune i also have a VW Corrado and i replaced the chip in it which was easy providing u can read instructions im assuming this will be about the same technical level....

easier, yup! Headers are a pain in the *** but if you have a lift at your disposal that much easier. Dynatechs are very expensive but worth it for fit/finish and come complete with cats.

+1 on the Dynatechs. They also include the nice Ypipe instead of that flattened factory piece. The lift made mine a breeze. I made a small mistake when I put mine in. The gasket only goes 1 way ( see directions for what I mean). Otherwise, you'll wonder why #8 plug won't thread in. After, you'll look like a dick, have to unbolt that side, flip over gasket, then you'll be OK. I dropped the plug on the ground( $7 or $8 ea.) due to that tab interferring & broke porcelain. NOTE:If u install it the right way, you shouldn't break any plugs. It only broke for that reason.
If I had to do again, I could cut my time in 1/2. All 4 o2's fit in factory locations.

Spray old bolts before u even start the job. Allow to penetrate overnight or whatever.

If you're replacing your whole exhaust from manifold-tailpipe, & not keeping any of it, SAWZALL would really speed up things. But u might be able to sell your cats or your old system, or keep it completely intact if needbe.

awesome then it's safe to say i'll be looking at dynatechs......but Y pipe...than doesn't that eliminate having true duals?? also like i said before theres no where close or cheap to do any type of pipe bending so i kind of need direct fits i mean i can cut pipe but no shaping and ultimately i'd like true duals with dual side exit with the stock tips but i plan on getting a roll pan very soon so would it be wiser to just dump them down right after the mufflers?
