I'm New at this and i need some guidance

I bought a 2001 GMC Sierra C3 (6.0 LQ4) AWD back in 2006 and only mods to it are a K&N Cold Air intake System, and Superchips Flashpaq programmer...... Next i'd like to put one cat back exhaust even maybe headers cuz i have access to a lift and tools but being in the army i don't get to much time off to work on a daily driver....I love the sound borla makes but i want split side exit which they don't offer for the 6.0 on a 1500 frame and borla is damn expensive so some comments for note worthy exhaust would be appreciated...also is a better MAF sensor and throttle body spacer worth the money or even give noticeable diffrences... also like i stated before it's pretty much my daily driver so in the shop maybe 2 days is max time i have to work on it so i can go pulling the motor out and opening her up........

*Daddy drinks because you cry*

You can do the headers and a true dual exhaust with x-pipe and Borla mufflers like I have...sounds pretty nasty. Click my sig and check out a few of the videos on the pages.
As far as the aftermarket MAF sensor or TB Spacer.....don't. They are a waste of your hard earned cash. Do the exhaust and look into getting a custom tune. You will be happier.
Welcome to the forum, stick around and enjoy!

1st - Welcome to PT. Exhaust is a subjective thing. I like stainless myself. I love my Corsa since I don't like drone. I don't think one can go wrong( in no order) w/ a Corsa, Borla or Magnaflow. It's just sound & money.:D

Have 1 of the sponsors do ya a tune & ship to ya. Remove your old one, & send the core( your old 1) back.

Yes, Trever has a truck most should aspire to be like. If a moderator could be nominated for Truck of the Month, I'd give him the nod. He helps wherever he can w/ his knowledge, comments & ya, humor. He's a class act!

I thought u were a mod/ admin, so therefore u can't enter TOTM?

We had one for the mods and the membership voted, i kiss more ass around here I guess :judge:

Yeah, C3MP69 after you do your mods go ahead and choose a mail order tuner, they can "adjust" a new tune and send you a pcm. It takes only a few miutes to swap out and then you just send back our "core". It will make the most out of those mods and you will be very pleased
