His sig says it's a 4.8 but if it is a 6.0 I still say injectors and a converter too.

no need for injectors with a small cam like that since he is still running stock everything except for an intake and spliced in muffler if I remember correctly. That motor wont start sucking more fuel than the stocker injectors can handle till he gets some real air moving thruogh there IE lts and better flowing exhaust. He will be right on the edge. My 5.3 with a 222/224 and full bolt ons was hitting mid 90s on injector duty cycle so he should be about the same iwth more cubes but less air flowing mods.

Interesting. Mine were running at 99% on the dyno after just LT's and tuning.
When I pick it up tommorrow, I'll ask about it.

Right. Now that makes sense.
So you still need springs and pushrods.
You're gonna be crawling with a stock converter by the time you turn up your idle on that cam.

3000 stall and 918's should be a good combo for that cam.

I highly suggest waiting till you can drop a converter in too with the motor otherwise it will be a dog outo f the hole and you wont like it. Also get atleast a shift kit in teh trans or it will be dead very shortly.

do the cam now its sooooooo much more simple to do while out of the truck wait to get the converter too then put everything in I know it sucks but is your best option. PUlling the trans later to swap a converter when you could do it now is dumb not ot mention its not exactly fun pulling the trans and t-case:
