well being that its straight piped, even with cats i hear it a mile away anyhow but its just seeming even louder than normal wich leads me to believe that the exhaust manifold bolts are'nt tight enough....would this lead to a loss in low/mid range HP and performance?

first off sometimes i dont think before a type i went outside and had smoke and thought about the problem at hand here...... if its leaking badly where the manifold bolts to the y pipe..... then your front 02 sensors are reading lean mixture chances are its not in the tune but the computer thinks your running lean so it keeps trying to catchup so it constantly dumping fule in..... and runing rich would hurt performance all across the rpm range..... it would basicly make alot noise and not move a whle lot

P0121 Throttle Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance

Double-check all your connections to the throttle body.

well the exhaust manifold bolts are about to be tightened...im on alaska time and just got off work here so in about a half hour ill know if tightening up all exhaust bolts does the trick..driving home i tested the motor some..the power is certainly wanting to be there but it feels like the exhaust is limiting it from coming on...as for the tps code i threw, that was just a throttle body connector that was'nt pushed in all the way....

Okay...i think im making some good progress! I tightened up my exhaust manifold bolts and when down there while the motor was idling i noticed 2 spark plugs with broken porcelean that were sparking blue!! So i changed plugs out along with handling the exhaust leak problem and went for a ride! Acceleration is acceptable and seems to really start to haul a$$ in the 3500-6000 RPM range! with only 90 miles on the motor im holding off some with really playing hard just yet....so all in all, could have been a combo of broken sparkplugs and an exhaust leak....I still will call Nelson Performance to see if the tune can be cleaned up a bit.
