Guys that would want tuning?
Maybe you want firmer shifts, TM removed, higher speed, rpm limiter, shift points, maybe you're running a little rich or lean.
I can do pretty much everything that needs to be done with edit, i'm getting pretty good at it, so i was wondering, would it be worth it to buy it and have enough guys wanting a simple tune or get rid of those pesky pcm bugs you have?
I'm in SA, TX, so this obviously applys to people within reach.
We could meet at the track and get real results.
Just off the top of my head, say you wanted a speed limiter removed $40, harder shifts (remove TM) $120, change shift points and TCC lockup $100, tire size and gear change $30, you get the idea. Or lean out your a/f ratio during an all night seesion at the track, like a personal test and tune day $250.
Those are just some examples, nothing set in stone, but who knows, might just work, i would get an unlimited version and you guys would get reasonable and competetive tunes and free or small charge adjustments.
Just thought i'd pass on the idea. I know getting a laptop, diag software, and edit is a pain for most of us, so why not just have me do it. I'm always at the track and i've learned edit well enough to adjust most things.

You'd have to get ALOT of people together to even break even on that venture. Just for the 99-02 software it would cost $8000+ and that is with the discount. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
If pricing for '03+ remains consistant raise that price up to over $11,000. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
There does seem to be alot of trucks down in TX though so you just never know. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Just thought i'd throw that out there, i'm aware of the prices, i was considering doing it.
This would go for the fbody's and vettes too.
i'd like to tune a 8.1L or a duramax some day and see how much power is hiding in there.

Might make for a nice little bidness if you threw a dynojet/wideband into the mix. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
