Default Idle adjustment

I am looking to put on a 212/218 cam by the end of summer but i am concerned about idle problems. I have heard from other guys that the idle is shaky and will stall without a tune. Is there anyway to adjust the idle with the throttle body screw. I have a 2001 5.3 and im not even sure if it has one and on vacation so i cant look under the hood. i tried searching for answers but to no avail. I dont really want to drill out the TB so should i wait untill i have the money for a tune or can i adjust the idle enough with just the screw? Thanks for any advice
