Ok guys not new but haven't been around since LS1Tech so please help me out. Old screen name was CSTCHEVY. I have 04 VHO and currently have had magnaflow 2 in one out on then went to dual flows with 6 inch tips dumped. Now I have bought 2 bassani street comp muffler and will be installing with a magnaflow x pipe, cutting off the cats. I can't decide if I want to just dump the mufflers individually or form a y pipe after the muffler into a 4 inch dump about 12 inches long. I am trying to get a very aggressie throaty sound with as little popping as possible. I am not affraid of a loud exhaust. So what's your opinion on what I should do? Magnaflow was way to quiet for me, and the flowmaster sounds hollow with no backbone. for you that do not know I have a 6.0 LQ9 in the truck. thanks

 

has anyone ever used any of flowtech's muffler. kind of a mix between flowmaster and magnaflow. i have 3" afterburners behind a 454 BB and it sounds great, but i guess anything sounds w/ BB. a camaro on ls1sounds.com has afterburners & it sounds mean

 

So nobody can give me any opinions on this?

Go with some small Borla's that should get the sound you want, and just dump them individually, I would not merge them. there are some vids floating around of a truck with Borla's on them and it sounds pretty damn mean.

 

Guys I have already bought the bassani mufflers. I guess I will just have to play with it. thanks
