Default I went to the track

Well, I finally got to the track. The track was so crowded, I only got to make two passes, and I went home. My first run was a horrible 16.1 @90mph. I spun 3/4 of the 1/4. My second run was 14.0 @ 98 mph. I only spun 1/2 the track and experienced the worst TQM i could imagine. The temp was 80 with 75% humidity. I screwed myself because I put my stock tires on and removed the spare/tailgate and had a 1/4 tank of gas. My traction absolutly sucks. I need traction bar and slicks. I have worst times now than I did before the trans work. I cant really say im not happy with it though, i can chirp third with stock tires @ 40psi(1st run). The second run the rears were @ 20 I lost a second of time do to horrible traction. No matter what I do, wheather I ease the trottle off of the line, or hammer it, I jusyt spin and hop. Th wheel hop is another problem thats bad. Thanks to all 400 Rice Racers @ the track I only got 2 passes in 4 hours. But I dd have a chance to talk to a bunch of Juice Head Guido Jerk offs in there mustangs bragin about how they run 13's. This made me laugh, cause If I could hook on the strip, all they would see is my tail lights. Overall the rack sucked, there was to much humidity to hook up, and to many Ricers.
Any suggestions
J
Bad Track Days with Ricers = <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> which in turn makes us <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" /> and then <img border="0" alt="[whiner]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" /> about our slow *** trucks. One day the Lightning will <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> to the my GMC

DAMN IT, 98 mph with the humidity? IS that on motor or on the gas? That biatch will go 101-102 in good air if its on motor. I need to check your mod list, that thing is ROLLIN.

I'm curious how the new tranny is working out for you
I'm looking for good rebuild kit for my tranny
Did you get a new tranny or a rebuild ?

I love the trans, it gets the power to the wheels so much, i cant ever hook up, to top that i can chirp 1st to 2nd, 2nd to third. I had level ten rebuild my trans with new everythingclutches, bands pumps, servo.........and a 9inch 2800 stall converter. Im happy, I spin the tires 1/2to the 1/8, and still run a 14.0 IMO with bars andslicks i might hit a 12.9
