Default i need help with picking one form of stroker

ok i got about three or four things to choose from and i can't seem to get set on one so i need opions here please.
first one get a stroker kit for the ls1 and make it a 383.
second bore the 4.8 out to 5.7 bore and make it a 383.
third buy a 6.0 block and make it a 402 or bigger.

ok here is where it get complicated to do the ls1 i have to take it out of my truck which i drive everyday to be able to build it and someone said something about clearance issues on the ls1 block. the 4.8 if it will got to 5.7 bore will be good if boreing it out doesn't cost much becouse its already out in the garage. the 6.0 sounds even better but if i have to spend money on the block then that takes away from the turbo fund which i have everything for but piping thats all i really like and an oil pump maybe depends on where i put the turbo. so if i go 6.0 i may not be able to get my turbo in till like this time next year. and i've had since this time last year. and if i go the the 6.0 will i need new heads becouse i', running ls1 heads right now. will they be ok until i get bigger heads? and if i do have enough left to finish the turbo will the 402 with ls1 heads be ok for the turbo
so let me know what you all think i got to get it striaght there are so many options.

I'd go w/ the 4.8 block and bore it out to 5.7. I too have been considering this route, but now I think I'll just go w/ a LQ9 crate motor.

Richard @ WCCH told me you can safely take the 4.8/5.3 block to 3.900".

BlownChevy's correct. Several years ago we bored a 5.3l block to 3.90". We sonic tested the block first. There was enough to make the 3.90" bore, but not enough to make the 4.0" bore. That engine ran really well in a 4X Tahoe w/a lift kit.

Good luck,

Richard

Richard also recommended "sonic testing" the block to see how far you can bore it. IDK from there, I was going to go this route but after figuring time and $, for me it'll be cheaper and quicker just to buy a new crate motor and add some bolt-ons.
