from what i hear the 112 has a more of a lope in the idle and is harder to tune but the 114 has a smoother idle and is easier to tune

the 112 is going to be a great naturally aspirated cam for the novice modder. it is going to be a little tougher to tune and might have some stall characteristics at times. the 114 is going to be an easy cam to tune and is going to have a much better idle characteristics. now go and read the cam thread and this will all make sense.
