Default I made up my mind!

I finally descided i will get the predetor over ls1edit and autotap.
The reasons are.
1. I Dont have a laptop.
2. Besides the supercharger, the only other mod i plan is a gear swap and shift kit.
3. Predator has diognostic capibilites built it.
4. Alot cheaper than both.
5. Alot of people supercharged seem to like it.

So. Do you think im out of line and making a mistake?

NO Edit and A-tap would be MUCH better.

If you only plan on doing those mods the Predator will work but You should know that once you start modding it will never stop. Also I would consider a custom tune for more info send me a pm.

I really like my predator. My truck is a daily driver and even though I plan to eventually put on a supercharger I dont think I will NEED LS1 edit to run that setup.

I also dont really want to plunk down all the cash for autotap AND Ls1edit. Another issue is programming and tuning. Like I said my truck is a daily driver. Sitting on a laptop tweaking the fuel settings, dyno tuning, etc. really isnt something I want to do regularly.

If and when I get the supercharger (not for a few years, probably) and I'm not happy with my quarter times then MAYBE I will go with LS1 edit.

The predator still is a code reader so it would STILL come in handy.

I think the bottom line is how serious do you want to get about modifying and especially tuning your car?
Just my opinion.
