Well I have finally finishedtying up all the loose ends on my nitrous install and man what a difference it is so much fun now to drive my truck. I am only shooting a 100 shot due to my engine having 155,000 miles on it but still is alot of fun. 4wd launches with the stall are awesome. I took out my buddy in a Z28 up to about 90 before he started realing back in but hey he weighs about 2000#s less than me too. Nitrous is so much fun. I went through 5 bottles in six days. I also installed a fuel pressure gauge nitrous pressure gauge and a a/f gauge with the autometer a-pilar pod and all of i went in pretty easily. I got a ny-trex wet system btw. I know thta brand name is not well known but the quality of the kit is better than any I have seen. All three silenoids are on a single anodized aluminum block and all the connections are well thought out and goes together like it should I will get some pics of it when I get out of work. I had to mount the bottle in my tool box cause the subwoofer box was in the way. Do you think the heat that builds up in the tool box will make the pop-off valve blow due to the high pressure? I cant wait for the new engine so I can shoot a 175shot and put my dual bottle setup in. There is absolutely no traction in 2wd now below 10mph.

Well Im going to have to start using it more sparingly whether I like it or not cause at 40 bucks a bottle its starting to kill my wallet the the last bottle lasted 3 days though maybe the next one could last a whole week but I doubt it. Anybody have a recommendation on a remote bottle opener I need to get one.

HUH! I never heard of them. I like that solenoid setup and although you cant really see that fill station looks cool! Those kits arent cheap($) either! Hope you have good luck with them! We all need a little luck when using n20! I know that 1st hand!

I got mine for 650 from a local speed shop it is the fully loaded one with all the bells and whistles. Yeah Im keeping my fingers crossed hoping the old 5.3 will hold together till the new 6L.

Nitrous is great. It really changed the attitude of my old Z71. It does get expensive (and a pain in the butt) to fill up the bottles regularly though.
I've got an extra NX remote bottle opener I'll sell you - $150 shipped.

5 bottles in 6 days wow
I have had my kit now for about 8 months and go through a bottle every 2 weeks and that takes all the discipline in the world because I want to spray all the time. So far no problems so good luck to you.
