Default I installed my cooler today

I got one of thems Long Tru-cool 40K GCW transmission coolers off ebay. Installed it today had to run to the store to pick up more tranny line but whatever..

anywya.. I mounted it on the frame sits about an inch in front of the AC condensor. the lines go tranny>rad>cooler>tranny.

Now I checked the fluids after I let it idle for a little bit and checked for leaks. The fluid on the XXXX side is gold. but the other side is dry. I checked like 3 times to make sure. Anyone mind helpin a brotha out real quick?

Also.. this isn't gonna interfere with airflow to the condensor and radiator would it?

good stuff good stuff...

also another question...

what is the actual proper way to check tranny fluid?

letting it sit at idle? (tranny levels gold)

or moments after you just ran the truck hard as **** on the road then checked in idle... (tranny level is low as ****)

do our stock tranny coolers have thermostats attached to them?

I know it says it I was just making sure..

cause I'm getting completely opposite readings.. wanted to know which one to follow... I'm sure its fine even if slightly overfilled cause it shifts fine so whatever..

and if it was empty I'm sure I would know it..
