How much do you want to pull? Is 80 tons enough for you?

You'd have LOVED to hear my pitch to my buddy about how he should get a Radix for his 02' 2500HD. I drove it for a week while moving into a new house and I would daydream durring my trips back and forth with loads to the new house. I think I almost have him hooked. You'd would have fainted when I told him for his application he'd be happier with the Radix.....

Tell my truck that because it don't know any better.

the guy told me that diesels don't run as hot so they are better for then then for gas. then i asked him about STS since they are in the back and run cooler and he said they don't run as efficiently.

So the 3- 3.5 mpg increase i got towing is not efficient. Ok

I pull a 8500# fithwheel which is proubly 9500-10000# loaded with all the BS and pull the crap out of it with no problems. The only time that it's under boost is when taking off or going up hill. Most of the time the gauge is 0-10# vac at 70-75 mph. and 3# boost going up steep hills.

Diesel's exhaust temps are way hotter than gasoline exhuast temps, as long as you're not ridiculously lean. Get an STS, and tell your friend to shove it everytime you pass him going up hill.
