In the not to distant future I will have @ $10000 to play with. Im wondering what you guys think of swaping a 6.0 into my truck with a Whipple and taking my 5.3 and putting it in my 99 blazer and spraying the hell out of it. Im kinda curious how the blazer would run with @500hp going to all 4 wheels. Its got a 2400 stall and electronic lockers, front and rear. Think it could run low 12s?

Snake Eater, how do you like your mello-tones? I think mine are to quiet.

Let me tell you my setup, TOG headers, cats, X-pipe, mello-tones, dumped in front of the rear axle.

It is real deep, but just not raspy at all. Did removing your cats do that much for you performance and sound?

 

I noticed a good jump in performance, and a huge diff in sound. Now it sounds like an all ***** muscle car.

Yea .. it's north on 217 from Mt. Pleasant. I may be wrong on the number, but I know where it is, and the road. I have an aunt that lives just north of Mt Pleasant off of that road. Why do you ask?

Did you remopve the cats all together or just gut them and stick a pipe through them?
