Default I gave the truck Trim Spa/ Removed Sway bar

ok, i removed some weight for tommorow night, and weighed what was removed. I also removed the swaybar for better weight transfer. What are your opinions? Do you think its good for 1/10th sec?

Subwoofer 25lbs
spare 62lbs
tailgate 58
plystn\gmes 5
jack tools 4
cds/games 4
cooler 6
swaybar 27
total= 191
Ileft the 20's on because i seem to hook better with them.

i've heard evey 100 pounds is a tenth. i could be wrong but if that is the case you should save almost 2 tenths. but thats assuming we live in a perfect world and you drive exactly like you did last time. let us know how it goes.

My trction sucks as is. when i leave the 20s on i hook better the the stockers. is weight reduction worth the loss of even more traction????

I would think no tailgate + no spare + 20"s = less traction.

Im thinking that the tail gate and spare may help me in the traction dept. the whole weight in the *** or spin the tires type deal. I hope the lack of the sway bar makes a difference. when i floor it now, its just super *** happy, but it does unload w/o the sway bar, i think with the weight in the *** i might not spin out as much.

It only took about 5 minute to take the sway bar off its only 8 bolts to remove. it sways, i can say that, but i havent driven it over 20 mph since, in a turn, you know your missing a sway bar. its 18 miles to the track so i should be ok.

I got the ET streets and took off everything that wasn't nailed down and it was a considerable diff.
