Well in my finite wisdom, i decided to piggy back the superchips program that came with the magnacharger with a hyper tech, to enhance the transmission shift firmness. Well it worked for about a mile. now the truck hit rev limited then hesitates as it shift. i removed the program, and then removed the superchips program, then reinstalled the superchips pro. and the same **** happened. My friend works for GM and brought home the Pcm plug in computer, it said i didnt have and codes set. I called superchips, andthey said they would fix the programmer, they say I corupted the program. Oh well, it happens. I recomend that noboy piggyback the 2.

I have had my PCM programmed with the S/chips tuninge and HPP3 shift points and rev limiter and had no problems at all. I know of someone else on this board that has done the same. Are you sure your battery wasn't low or something? I don't program them both back to back. I crank the truck to charge the battery in between the two so I don't have the problem you had. All the S/chips and HPP3 do is copy the program in the PCM and load theirs, so I don't see how you could corrupt one unless the battery was too low and the PCM communication was jumpy.

Acording to Superchips I most likely corupted my ecu/hypertch said the same thing. Acording to superchips they have had a 50/50 sucsess rate with piggy backing the two, and this is a common problem that happens. I have to send the programmer back to superchips to get it reflashed, and my friend from GM has to erase the ecu, and then redownload it. The sad thing is that i cant drive my truck
