I need a wire that is switched with the ignition for my fans.
The 1st wire I found was hot when the ignition was on, but once the engine was started went dead.
The 2nd one is hot with the engine running, but cuts back on the voltage when you pull it out of Park.
Any help would be appreciated!
BTW .. I was looking under the fuse panel.

look under the driver side dash. about were your left foot would be while driving. you will see a black box. take the cover off and get a meater. that is were i taped into. BUT i used relays so that sent the power to the relays which do not require much power. So i do not know how you are doing it but i do not think it will give enough power from there to run the fans. some one else might be able to help or i can tell you my way.

I'm using the Flex-A-Lite controller. It is a switched wire I'm looking for. The controller has the power wires and ground wires seperate. Thanks for the info!

Sorry .. I guess I should have posted back.
I found one .. and a wire under the fuse block for the AC compressor too.
I used a pink wire on the right side (looking at it from the fender with the fuse block flipped up) at the top for the switched wire, and a solid green wire in the middle section, about in the middle for the AC wire. It just helped to have a little bit of daylight. I hate finding wires under a flashlight.
They work great now. It will actually hold the 160"ish* with the bigger radiator, not to mention, besides the naked wires, it looks factory.
