I agree with all the advice given so far, including the 6.0. You need low end torque to turn those big ole tires, and a 6.0 is a direct bolt in swap. Also to run LS1 Edit you need to have access to a lap top.

Do some searches here and in other sections of this site on LS1 Edit and the engine mods you are looking at. The information will be overwhelming at first but the more you research the more that will become clear. If you find any specific questions along the way feel free to post 'em! There are a lot of VERY knowledgeable people around here.

BTW, that sounds like a badass truck!
