Yes, If all that bad fuel made it to the injectors. They may all be clogged.

Sorry to hear about all your problems. If you haven't check compression yet, you are just pissin in the wind. Do that before you go any further and at least you'll verify that it's not mechanical issues. Also, what Shell station specifically did you go to. I use it too. If it is bad gas, it could easily be a bad storage tank at that particular gas station. Good luck, hope to see you at the track sometime later on.

I would also check all electrical connectors in the engine bay maybe launching something came loose.

These are the symptoms my truck had when the cats took a ****. Idled funny, sounded like it was running on a few cylinders, accelerated weak, shifted long and weak, sounded like an old UPS truck, etc etc. fwiw mine died at the track, and I was getting random multiple misfires at WOT (p0300).

One thing you can try is take all the plugs out and plug them back into the plug wires, and have someone crank the truck over so you can see that they are all firing.

ive seen injectors packed clean off before with black crud and ran like what your talking about. Ive seen filters drain back black stuff like that before when they werent changed often. pull your injectors out and check them, check your fuel pressure, if your filter was bad and you could barely blow thru it, it will knock a pump out easily, also check the compression.

I agree...check/clean those injectors some of that black crud/varnish could've made it up there. Also when my truck stumbles a CASE Re-learn always makes it go away; however, it sounds like your past the stumbling problem. Since it died so qiuck and has been getting progressively worse in a short amount of time I would stick to the fuel system for now...GOOD LUCK

If you can use or borrow one of those laser/infrared handheld instant thermometers, shoot it at the exhaust manifold / header at each cylinder when the motor is somewhat warm, you will be able to tell which cylinders are colder than the rest and at least know which cylinders are the most problematic.

THIS IS ALL YOU GOT AFTER TURNING THE KEY ON 4 TIMES INTO A LITTLE 5 OZ DIXIE CUP? I would seriously check fuel pressure at the rail after you drop a new ff in it. You don't need to have the truck running. Just hook the guage up that turn the key on 3 times to get it fully primed. But pay attention to the reading each time you prime it. Let me know what that somes back as. That would be the first thing I would be after. FP not being enough. And those older trucks eat FP's for lunch!
