Default HRP 7/3

Well guys I hope that the weather holds out. I really want to make it out to HRP this evening. The last time I went I ran a best of a 15.21@~91mph. Since then I have added a torque converter and TransGo, so we will see what happens. The only problem is that I have a feeling that I am going to have major traction issues. I just filled my truck up with gas on Monday night, so it will probably weigh more than the 4980lbs. that it weighed last time. Unless I can waste a lot of gas before tonight.

I'll keep you guys updated!

Hey GUys, post how your trucks run. I will probably run this sunday night to test the gains of the HPP3 and servo. Least the humidity is down some tonight, you should run decent. Take pics to.

Well I went out there. But I was having major traction issues with the new torque converter. I had wheel hop like crazy. I tried stalling it up to 2000.....wheel hop! 1500....wheel hop! 1000....wheel hop! flashing off idle....wheel hop! Only way to hook was to roll into the throttle.

Then I started picking up a lot knock in third gear, probably because of the heat and humidity. So, I took the HPP3 programming off and ran a 15.165 @ 89.14 w/ a 2.121 60'.

With traction I think it would have ran and easy 14.9 maybe better.

In better weather probably a 14.5 or so. I can't wait for the winter again.

BTW you may try slapping on some leaf spring clamps to put a little more pre-load on the springs. I guess Cal Tracs and ET streets are next for you eh?
