Default Bad Day for Lightnings at HRP

Just a quick note, yesterday, there wer 2 Lightnings at HRP. One caught on fire rightafter launching and ran all the way down the track flaming and all. It looked like a rocket car with all the smoke The other guy had to go get a shirt other than his tank top, then tried to do a burnout IN the water box and if that wasn't goo enough, he TRIED to do another after he staged. Pathetic.

On a side note, a ricer was sitting at the lights when it went green, and sat there and sat ther until the starter finally walked up to him tapped on the glass and told him to go. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha He must have had a 30 second r/t literaly. I guess the humidity not only affected times, but brains as well.

LMAO! I love going to the track just to watch the newbies screw up. I wish I had a dollar for every time a ricer has staged with his rear tires, I'd be rich! I wonder if there is a video floating around yet of the "Flame-kissed" Lightning?
Ricers...

Greg, seen this video yet? It takes forever to load, but is well worth it.

Wish I would have gone. Any late model pick ups running? Fast 4.8, you run your truck?

btw what are stock lightnings runnin in the 8th?
a guy in town i talked to said a totaly stock one would run 8.01s..
i dont think he will b/c he put 20/8.5s that are pretty flashy, (nearly a solid rim)
and think the weight will hurt a bit...
anyways
i saw a guy do a johnforce styled burn out in a volvo at the 1/8th and stomped on teh brakes in reverse to stage... perfect with the rear tires
it was pretty cool to see...

I dislike Ford products and shitty track conditions.

I've seen 2 lightnings run in an 1/8. One ran 8.80 stock. The other ran an 8.0 on the bottle.
