Default HPTuner Question

I sold my HPPIII on eBay. I haven't recieved payment so I haven't shipped it.
I hope I revieve HPTuner before shipping HPPIII.
Can I read and save my bin that has HPPIII tune then program back to stock with HPPIII?
How long does it take to read bin?
It is going to be close on whitch gets here first, Payment for HPPIII or HPTuner
Thanks

It will only take about 5 minutes to do a complete read. Yes, you can do that too. You will need to do a read with HPT with the Hypertech loaded. Once you get that done, reset the Hypertech to stock and do another read. You can compare and contrast the 2 files to see what changed (should be just timing tables and shift points for the most part). Then you can load the tune you read WITH the HPP3 loaded and you will have your HPP3 tune back.

Comparing tunes is a great way to learn the ropes and what does what. HPT also has a very good forum to ask questions on.
