In my opinion, LS1Edit is the better route if you wanna spend the cash. You could always see if a couple other people you know want to go in on it with you that have a newer model Chevy truck or anything with an LS1. (anyone please correct me if im wrong) Its like $100 bucks for each additional VIN. There is SO much more you can change with LS1Edit than an HPP3. Another good side to LS1Edit is it can be used on multiple cars but costs some cash. With the HPP3 the programming has to be removed from the current vehicle to be used on another same model year truck. If you are gonna get pretty heavy into your mods, say a cam, you can use LS1Edit to change various parameters to get your truck running good. So far I have only changed my top speed limiter but plan on changing some more when I get my cam in. Thats my 2 cents! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

AND I have seen a lot of people selling their HPP3 to get LS1Edit, its just more versatile.
