Default HPP3

Guys, can i use my 01 HPP3 in an 02 chevy? and if so what should i adjust the shift points to? That guy who wants me to paint his bumper wants my HPP3. I did the K&N, and decrceened the MAF for him. it made a difference.

Dont think you can on different year models.....It will only let you do one truck at a time.

nope. '01 HPP3 only good for '01 trucks. me and a friend looked into this also (he has 01, i have 02) but our hopes were ruined.

does anyone know if it would be possible to put the hypertech programming on 1 truck, leave it on that truck and then somehow clear out the hypertech unit and use it on another truck? j/w

You can, but you would have to pay hypertech $150 to clear the programming for use on another VIN and your other user would not be able to remove his programming. Not really worth it in the long run.
