Default HP tuners

i heard through this site that you can program 2 vehicles for the price of one. i checked the site and it looks to be true. do they send you 2 cables for each truck or is it just one cable that controls two trucks?

im a little stupped on what i should do, i just bought a nelsons tune and i still have time to send it back if i decide to go with hp tuners. and my mom just bought a 2500hd an i know she is going to want to make it faster, which will include some computer tunning. should i send my nelsons tune back and buy hp tuners for $125 more and be able to program both trucks or just keep the nelsons and have my mom spend the money to get one of her own?

how hard would it be to tune for the mods i have in my sig? please help me time is running out!!

Its year specific.

So if you and your ma got the same year trucks. It should work.

It's one cable btw

hp tuners is awesome

not hard at all.

once you get the hang of this thing, you'll love it

I email HP Tuners asking about the 2 vehicle purchase and tuning two different year trucks and this is what I got for a reply.

"Yes, you will need to specify both vehicle types on our orders page.. you
will receive 1 interface and CD. You will be able to tune both trucks.

If you sell the trucks you can sell your interface or add more support to
it."

From what Keith says, it sounds like you can do two different years with the 2 vehicle purchase.
But you only get one cable???

my truck is a 2000 and my moms is a 03. would the dealership know there was computer tuning done if she has to take it in. its still under warrenty?

so if i bought it now i would be able to program 2 trucks under one cable.

They shouldn't notice you have messed with the parameters of the tune. When you get it up and running. Save your stock .bin file. Then, if you need to take it to the dealer, just load it back on in case.

I'm not quite sure. This could be an update in version 1.5, because as far as I know its been yr specific. Even the form to make the purchase requires the yr made. I'd check just incase. I believe theres a more expensive version that allows you to program pretty much anything.

I don't know why they can't adapt it for 2 different years, as a programmer, I see no good reason why not. Do they offer tunes for the '04 trailblazer?
