get it dyno tuned and pulley down 2 tenths. a mail order tune and a pulley swap is the fast track to a new motor. As stated above....you gained 100 rwhp, and the headers (shortys) are not worth **** imho.

It's a bit of a drive, but I promise you wouldn't be disappointed if you drove to San Antonio and let Allen (Nelson Performance) tune it. And I believe he has the smaller pulleys in stock.

From what is being said the headers are a weak point that are not helping at all. I guess you get what you pay for. Should I replace them? If so what should I replace them with? Thanks for the input.

Also are there any other mods that members with a similiar set up have had luck with? I figure if there is anything that would help me out I should go with it and then go get the dyno tune and pulley.

I agree with Moze.
As far as shortys go, they are not costing you power, they just aren't helping as much as long tubes will. I have shortys and the Radix and I do ok with my setup.

I understand that different dynos vary. I was just dissapointed because I have always heard that a Dynojet reads high. Also was dissappointed in the gains I got since I had a before and after on the same dyno.

Thanks for everyones help. I have decided to go with a smaller pulley but not yet decided on what size. Also will be getting the dyno tune at the same time here in the next couple weeks. I have been recommended to a tuner in my surrounding area from a forum member who claims to have had good work done by him. After reading a few posts it looks like I now need to figure what to do with my stock transmission.
