Default how to unhook exhaust???

I just got my corsa sport today, and I was wondering, how do I take off the exhaust from the black rubber hanger by the tailpipe? There seems to be like a cap over it, so I have no clue how to unhook it, any ideas? If its helps, its a 06 rcsb 4.8

They can be a pain. I just worked it back and forth and it came off. Might try a little bit of grease. I think I used WD-40, been a while don't remember lol

I just did this....
it's like a mushroom head, I sprayed a little penetrating lube at it then took a pair of channel locks and grabbed the back of the rubber piece and the mushroom head and squeezed, just to kinda force it in once you have it started it'll work it's way out... FYI: I removed my stock catback in one piece, so it is possible

Alright, I got it done, took a lil over 30 min, those rubber hangers weren't as bad as I thought, just popped em out no problem, it sounds awesome, nice low and suttle sound when idle, and sounds mean as hell when u get on it, and throttle response is just a tad better, all in all, I'm very satisfied, well worth the 600 bucks!!!!
