Default How to remove MAF connector?

this is a simple question im sure, but on the older style MAF's the female and male ends came apart just by lifting a lip up and sliding off. On the newer trucks, how do you get the wiring harness off(disconnected from) the MAF? I just dont want to break the thing by tugging.
