well i've read good and bad things about silverados/sierras, i'm interested in buying a 2k1 c3, but i don't want something that will always be in the shop and rattle/fall apart around me... how have your trucks treated you, especially if you have a c3?

In a word Indestructible. The C3 is an upgrade of the sierra. It has the high output 6.0 rated at 325HP with AWD. It was originally to commemorate the third time in all of GM history that they have compleatly redesinged the trucks get it C3 third time. The C3 was only avalable for one year. In 2002 the name was changed to Sierra Denalli and it was givin 4WS.

As far as durablility the C3 has the stronger 4L65E Trany and every single option you can put in a truck.
