probably about half a second to .8 I ran a 15.1 in my ec 4wd and for the same mods I had at that time a rcsb 2wd would run a low 14 like 14.2-14.4

I would say that is dead on. We had a Avalanche GTG last year at Bowling Green KY(Beach Bend Raceway park) and the 2wd AV's were .5 to .7 sec faster with simular mods.

If identical mods were done to a simular but 2wd truck and you had enough traction, I would say so. Just my $.02 from watching others at the strip.

There were a lot bone stock trucks racing at Beech Bend that day. A totally stock Z-71 AV would run 17.1-17.2. A stock Z66 would run 16.5-16.6.

The 4wd tranfer case eats up power in addition to the weight difference.

does 4x4 eat power in 2wd?!

I think it would make less of an effect on the HD denali though.

something that heavy and powerful wont notice a door missing
Think sport bike with fat chick on it vs a tank with a fat chick on it
