There is also a 40 amp unit which is $250

I gotta email into Racetronix asking about a plug and play fuel pump setup.(To see if they'll make one) We'll see.

John

PS - You might want to check in the Forced induction section to see if anyone is selling one.

hmm... sounds like a good upgrade for 200-250 bucks. any idea of how much more power the 40 amp will support?

you have any idea what a walbro 255 costs and if it affects gas mileage? i dont know much about replacing parts on the fuel system but i guess its a good time to learn

Bryan, don't waste your money on a dual stage kit! Dual stages are good for two things: Spraying BIG amounts of nitrous, and helping traction lacking cars leave with a small amount of nitrous then hitting the big spills when its out of the hole. If you are going to only spray a max of 150hp, just get the NX wet fogger kit and spray all 150hp right out of the hole. On ET streets with maybe a set of Cal Tracs, you can spray it all out of the hole and get the most ET out of the kit. Don't be scared, just hit the switch and put it on the floor. 12.80s for you son

not sure on the hp for the pump but on my truck(see sig) only spining the engine to 5k and 5psi boost and stock tuning i was able to max out my fuel system by adding about 20% fuel with the PE vs RPM chart. at the end of 2nd my fuel presure was droping, droped about 5psi then came back up after the shift.

20% doesn't seem like all that much, once i get some exhaust on there i think i will be really close to running out of fuel, i put it back to the stock PE vs RPM scale because it didn't get rid of any KR and only made the truck slower.

lol looks like someone gave up on traction. First, I'd prefer to master the 60' NA on the BFGs . I say save some money, and run a single wet a solid 150 shot with some tires off the line instead, and get the new fuel pump, you should be ready to go. Just like someone else I know who's doin it As for the street,if its for $$$$ put the tires on, and you know what to do from there......Dual stage IMO just isn't necessary on these trucks......

there are more reasons than that for going with dual stage nitrous. the off the line part doesnt really affect me because i will be on tires and my converter will keep me above 3000rpm at all times even launching. but if im driving down the road and see a car faster than me i can spray just a 75shot on it and win and not do the extra engine wear so much and save nitrous, OR if i need it i can turn on the extra 75 shot and still win

not to mention i am looking into the future as well for mods. u may think its overkill now, but thats cause the rest of the beast isnt there yet

Ok, so after you win and are able to say you beat the car, then what happens?

Don't you want that bottle refilled, for free???

I'll let you guys know what I find out.
