How much horsepower with stock MAF?

Harlan goes by y2khawk on this site and is a moderator of the Forced induction section. I don't think he is making the averager box right now but, may come out with a refined version at some point.

The dual MAFs output their signal to the averager box then the averager box averages the two signals.

Example

Maf 1 reads 400gm/s
Maf 2 reads 500gm/s

400+500 = 900gm/s

900/2 = 450gm/s

So the engine is using 900gm/s of air but, the computer is only seeing 450gm/s. The IFR has to be adjusted to compensate for the double in airflow/frequency over the stock MAF setup. Using this technique the stock computer can read lots of air very accurately and also do the normal adjustments for air temp.

The MAFs have to be in parallel not series.
